Ecorces, original texts by Claude Ber, written to accompany a series of mezzotints and embossments by Judith Rothchild, is published in leporello form in fifty copies on Hahnemülhe paper. The mezzotints are printed by the artist. The hand-set letterpress in Vendôme Romain was printed on an Albion press of 1867 by Mark Lintott who also made the boxes and slipcases.

. The marbled paper on the title page and the screen printed papers on the slipcases were created by the artist. Numbers 1/50 to 12/50, the deluxe edition, are presented in clamshell boxes and include one of the original copper plates as well as an ink wash drawing and a fragment of the text in the hand of the author. The books numbered 13/50 to 50/50 are presented in slipcases.  

All the books are numbered, and signed by the author and the artist.
