12 O'Clock News by Elizabeth Bishop was first published in 1976 in the collection Geography III. This edition is presented with two mezzotints by Judith Rothchild. Eight fragments of the second plate have also been printed following the indications given by the author in the text.

The edition of fifty copies has been printed on Hahnemülhe paper and bound in the Japanese style. The mezzotints as well as the screen prints on the covers, slipcases and boxes have been printed by the artist. The handset letterpress in Vendôme romain has been composed and printed by Mark Lintott on an Albion press. The bindings, slipcases and clamshell boxes are also the work of Mark Lintott. The two mezzotints have also been printed in an edition of twenty.

The first ten in the edition are presented in clamshell boxes. They contain one of the original copper plates as well as an additional mezzotint.

The regular edition (11/50 - 50/50) is presented in slipcases.

The numbers 46/50 to 50/50 are hors commerce.
