Un Jardin au bord de l'eau
« Un jardin au bord de l’eau » an original text by Frédéric Jacques Temple, based on his childhood memories of the Aveyron, is accompanied by a series of mezzotints by Judith Rothchild. It is published in the form of a leporello on Hahnemühle paper in an edition of 50.
The full page mezzotints are printed by the artist. The handset letterpress in Vendôme romain has been composed and printed by Mark Lintott on an Albion press. The slipcases and clamshell boxes are also by Mark Lintott.
The first ten copies, the deluxe edition, are presented in clamshell boxes. Each contains an original monotype signed by the artist inspired by her studies of the river as well as a text by the author.
The books numbered 11/50 à 50/50 are presented in slipcases.
Some of the eleven engraved plates have been printed as well in an edition of fifteen.
All the books are signed and numbered by the author and artist.
